We have just got back from Paris where we presented the new SS12 collection to international buyers. This box arrived half an hour before our first appointment with the final (important) samples... thanks Sarah Carr for helping me out with that postage! Loved the kitsch stickers for added enjoyment. We will post more photos of the new collection soon to give you a glimpse of our view for Spring/Summer 2012... 'Camouflage Clouds'.

Russell Weekes shot a short film/promo for Marwood which was shown in the window of bStore last month in our installation promoting the launch of our debut collection of ties for Autumn/Winter 2011. We love how simply this film captures the classic elements of Marwood which are rooted in inspiration from the old, yet keeping it young and relevant for a man of today that doesn't necessarily wear a tie daily, usually saving them for weddings. Most of all this film made us smile. Very important.
Thanks to Russell for the painstaking process of capturing all the stills that enabled this promo film and then putting it together. Although the set is not caught on camera, these behind-the-scenes shots show the wonderful location provided by Berdoulat.

If we were in Houston right now, we would be paying the MIT List Visual Arts Center and the Contemporary Arts Museum a visit, as they are presenting the first museum survey of the work of media art pioneer Stan VanDerBeek, exploring his investigation of art, technology and communication.
"Surveying the artist's remarkable body of work in collage, experimental film, performance, participatory and computer-generated art over several decades, "Stan VanDerBeek: The Culture Intercom" highlights the artist's pivotal contribution to today's media-based artistic practices."
